lay... egg... sacks... in... brain.
Got it!!! Thanks, I'm gonna go call "her" right now. Love is on the horizon.
I LOVE this concept...
Seriously good stuff. The voice acting was a little slow at times, the expressiveness of the characters was a little tame, and the overall animation was okay... but the humor was strong and it made me lol good. Honestly, just he concept of the cash cab guy taking his contestants on a high speed chase from the cops alone has me cracking up. I really hope you move up in the TOFA, I'd like to see what you have in store.
YES, thank you!!!
I literally just wrote a detailed review of HDD's latest "animated" tragedy WGJ4K-826 saying essentially the same thing. Do you see him on DeviantART, he's basically focus testing all his work now, "What color should this be", "How should this one act" etc.
The sad thing is, he's actually a decent animator/writer. I'm still a fan of his, but I can't excuse him if he's gonna keep skating by on his past success.
I wanna see him get back to his "Adam Android"s and "Greatest Idea Ever"s. Ya know, things that are actually entertaining to watch. Not this painful cranked out gener-a-mation.
Anyway, this get's a 5/5 10/10 on it's own merits, and I'd give it a bonus if I could just to send HDD a message.
What happened to you man?
Remember "Adam Android" and "Joan & Mark"? Those were fucking awesome!!! They were original and pleasant to watch.
These days... I dunno... it really seems like you ARE Mickey and that was you ranting off camera. You just roll out generic bit after generic bit, and it feels like there isn't nearly as much love in each frame.
Is your heart really in this, or are you doing this just for the fans? Because, believe it or not, I AM a fan. And I'll still like you if you take a bit of a brake to write something really good.
For Christ's sake... did you actually write those jokes or just lift them from a popsicle stick and apply them to games? And the dialogue afterwards... "Oh it was realistic and gritty and that's why it's funn--" NO!!! You've gone the way of Family Guy. Just because it's what happens in real conversations doesn't mean it's funny... it's dry and uninspired.
Your last really thought out piece was "The Greatest Idea Ever". It was your last breath before sinking into mediocrity and assembly-line-made animations. Stop churning out the regulars, stop coasting on your success in the past, stop taking advantage of fanboy praise... and get back to real animation. Please.
But hey... that's just one asshole's opinion. I mean, what have I ever done?
You make me want to try harder...
... you are just simply amazing. What's the FPS on this?
It's so damn smooth, the camera angles are pro, you're a master at choosing colors and your lines are so clean. How do you do that and still manage to put put out something like this in 6 weeks? Cleaning up my lines is such a chore and takes forever. Teach me, teach me to be more like you.
I am going to watch everything you have in your profile, then I'm gonna watch them again. When I'm done watching them, I'm gonna get back to animating and try to work my way up to your skill level. You have set my new high bar.
Easily a 5/5 10/10
Do the world a favor, don't ever stop animating.
I usually float around 24-25 fps when i animate. 25 mostly when i animate with two's
I love you harry...
...you made my day with this. That looks EXACTLY like Mr. Nicholas Cage. Your powers of humor and animation are awe inspiring.
I'm not a big fan of anime OR new Family Guy, but this was still enjoyable....and a little creepy.
Domestic violence is ALWAYS funny.
Well I'm glad you liked it.
The art wasn't exactly life like, but that was a strength not a weakness. It was quirky and the visuals weren't a literal translation of lyrics unlike what many amateurs do. I especially liked the open and close motion the flaming skull made wih his hands.... so creative.
Besides all that, I really loved the song. This was an absolute treat fo all the senses and I thank you for making it. I watched it 6 times... 5/5 9/10
Was Super Jail an influence on the art or is that just your usual style?
Super Jail wasn't a direct influence. I've really only seen the pilot episode. I don't have cable.
I draw a lot, and the style just kind of materialized. I didn't really plan everything to a T. There was a lot of improvisation. If you want to see some of my drawings, go to tomdeslongchamp.com . There are fragments of the style in my drawings.
I really like your work
But this... I... I didn't get it. I guess it was some kind of love story... or something. Not really sure... what ever. The art was good though, audio coulda been better.
